Reserva Natural Atitlán?

A day trip to the incredible Reserva Natural Atitlán is a must for any outdoor lover. It is known as 'the gateway to the impressive nature of Lake Atitlan'.

This beautiful area is filled with stunning waterfalls, suspension bridges, a river, and an abundance of native plants and flowers. Aside from spending the day hiking around this expansive reserve, visitors can also:

Feed bananas to the local Pizote population
Go ziplining or cable-biking through the treetops
Visit the Geo-Dome filled with thousands of butterflies

This is the perfect activity for groups of all sizes. You can easily spend anywhere from an hour to a whole day here, depending on the experience you’re looking for.

How to get to Reserva Natural Atitlán

(from Free Cerveza Hostel)

Directions

Take a lancha from the Free Cerveza dock to Panajachel. From there, catch a tuc tuc to Reserva Natural Atitlán.

Roughly 25 mins total (15 by boat, 10 by tuctuc).
