Why Should You Visit

7 Caldos?

If you're looking to dive into Guatemalan food, 7 Caldos is the place to do it. This Panajachel staple has something for everyone: hearty caldos, grilled meats, regional classics like pepián, fresh seafood, and more. Not sure where to start? Order the antojitos platter for a sampler of traditional Guatemalan snacks, or let the fresh tortillas straight from the kitchen win you over on their own.

The drink menu is just as impressive as the food. Don't leave without trying the maracuyá cocktail, and if you're a beer drinker, they have a solid range of local Guatemalan beers to work your way through too.

The setting makes the whole experience. 7 Caldos has a gorgeous outdoor dining area that's perfect for a long, relaxed lunch or dinner, and the staff are known for going out of their way to walk first-timers through the menu. It's well worth a visit whether Guatemalan cuisine is new to you or not, and the kind of place where the service is so good, you'll find yourself staying for one more round.
